Sostener is a collaborative project between two Monterey grower/vintners—Steve McIntyre and Michael Thomas. McIntyre and Thomas have entrusted Eric Lauman to oversee winemaking for Sostener. A graduate of UC Davis, Laumann, has worked as a professional winemaker for over thirty years, including stints at Zaca Mesa, Kendall Jackson, Chalone Wine Group at their Edna Valley winery, Bronco Wine Company, Bonny Doon Vineyards, and Castle Rock.
